As a Senior Software Engineer at GitHub, I am passionate about developer and infrastructure tools, distributed systems, systems- and network-programming. My expertise primarily revolves around Go, Kubernetes, serverless architectures and the Cloud Native domain in general. I am currently learning more about Rust and AI.
Beyond my primary expertise, I've branched out into areas like .NET, React, TypeScript, APIs, data engineering and Google Cloud to name a few. My past also saw me wearing the hats of a consultant, delivering hands-on training sessions, hosting podcasts, and organizing engaging meetups for the tech community. I'm an active contributor to open source and believe in the importance of knowledge sharing, as evidenced by my blog posts and talks. Additionally, I hold the title of Google Developer Expert (GDE) and CNCF Ambassador.
I will help you become a better software engineer with a tailored learning path and live lessons, sharing career advice and helping you prepare for a new job and interview. Send me an inquiry and we will see if there is a match for both of us! Once you apply and start the 7 day trial, we'll discuss your goals and needs further. If you're onboard, we are going to start work hard towards your goals. Not happy? Cancel the trial. If you are not looking for a full blown mentorship program, I have a one-off "Ask Me Anything" session you can book too.
Be prepared for homework! As an example: I will give you recommendations for books and articles to read and I will give you a project to work on, reviewing the code you write and enforcing best practices, code quality, good software design.

Looking forward to meeting you!

I've been really happy using my time with Luca so far. He is a very understanding mentor and very willing to work on whatever goal I have been focusing on. I wanted some help with my overall engineering skills and wanted to try learning more about distributed system. He is very helpful for pointing out design decisions and making suggestions. He also recommends very helpful readings!
