A driven and passionate leader, design partner, and mentor. For the past year, I have moved from product strategies in the weeds, to zooming out and tackling problems across an enterprise at The Home Depot. I have obtained stronger business insights in how to partner with stakeholders and show them a true UX process by adding value by what is needed in the current time since placed on the team. At The Home Depot, I am tackling our largest customer, the pro customer. I am strategizing across teams to find our Pro pain points across different products for the various experiences they have. I have moved from a designer and researcher to a design partner to help my business partners make better-informed decisions about what our customers expect and how to stay ahead of the competition. I have also lead and contributed to multiple organization activities and events.

Outside of work, I spend time on my 5-acre farm with my wife and newborn son. I raise chickens, ducks, geese, and pigs. I love BBQ so I am always experimenting with my smoker trying to cook up delicious smoked meats. I am also the co-founder of the Austin Figma chapter where we put on monthly events for the design community. I also mentor people from all around the world through the Interaction Design Foundation's UX boot camp.
