My educational background is in Medicine, Mathematics, and Electrical Engineering. Professionally, I am the Chief Scientific Officer of Vertex Labs, a machine learning research and consulting group. I more or less lead the research team as well as give internal lectures and host a weekly machine learning book club (my favorite part of the week).
I've done (and currently still do) projects in Finance, Pharma, Biotech, Medicine, and Education, as well as traditional Image Processing, Speech Processing, and NLP.
