I think about how people think in order to solve complex problems.
I am a former bonobo chimpanzee ethnographic researcher, current Design Researcher & Strategist, and forever neuroscience nerd on a professional mission to ensure human-centered design is appropriately and strategically leveraged to solve complex, systemic problems.
Specifically, I use my education & training in Cognitive Science to explore and dissect the role of human behavior and cognition in how people perceive, interact, and emotionally engage with products, services/experiences, and systems. I’m currently applying this mindset and approach to all things health & healthcare.
I have 12+ years experience practicing design research, leading design teams, teaching design, and coaching future designers.
