I was doing things with computers, BBS-es and Internet since somewhere in the 1980's. Since then I have set up one of the first Web hosters, built one of the largest ISP's in the Netherlands, did one of the first ISP's in Africa and had a lot of other adventures.
In cybersecurity I have done lots of things, amongst which are designing/creating an anti-malware solution (twice, the last one being used by millions of people around the world), being CISO for the largest 100% dutch cybersecurity company, doing a large project for a big airline company and it's 400 daughters and nowadays I do security work with a CVD/Bug Bounty company and I am on the Security Advisory Board for one of the largest VPN company in the world (it definitely is one of the most well known).
I also have a couple of patents in cybersecurity/privacy engineering, you can find them on my personal website or the USPTO database.
The reason I am on Mentorcruise is that I supported the founder on Kickstarter for a different project and I thought and still think that this mentorship platform is just an awesome idea.
