My job is to teach Data Science. My background was in Statistics before teaching myself to code to work as a data scientist. I worked as a data scientist for a few years before realising my passion was in teaching these concepts in simple terms. I worked as a data science mentor working with global companies to integrate data science practises in their roles whilst also helping them on gaining a level 4 qualification as a data scientist. I now work as a data science instructor for one of the biggest data science software companies in the world at DataRobot hosting sessions in multiple fields of data science.
I have helped several people go from having no experience in data science to landing jobs in the industry by coaching them on what skills they need to acquire, how to optimise their resumes and what projects they can work on.
