Coming from a non-technical background, my path to a career in data science was undoubtedly uphill and winding. But ultimately, it was worth every effort. I once mentored groups of students through their graduate capstone program as an industry mentor. It was one of the most enjoyable highlights of my career, and my biggest motivation to become a mentor.
