I'm Isaac and I'm a lead front end engineer at Emotive, a startup based out of Los Angeles. I studied aerospace engineering but transitioned to software engineering after my first job. Why you may ask? Software engineering lets you be creative but also is a highly technical domain. It's also part of pretty much every industry, giving you more freedom to work in an industry you're interested in. I love what I do at Emotive and as a lead engineer who manages a team of around 10 (design/product/engineering), I've learned a lot of technical knowledge but also the intangibles which I feel separate senior engineers from junior engineers.
