I’m Pedro, a mechanical engineer who spent the last few years at Mercedes AMG High Performance Powertrains, working on Formula 1 power units for the 2026 project. My work focused on fluid systems, ERS mechanical components, and the integration of electrical systems under tight deadlines and performance targets.
Over the years, I developed strong expertise in CFD, FEA, and CAD, and I enjoy helping others master these tools, from building clean parametric models to running efficient simulations and interpreting real engineering data. I’ve also supported students and early-career engineers with career guidance, CV reviews, and project feedback, especially those looking to break into motorsport or high-performance engineering.
Recently, I’ve been transitioning into product and technology, applying the same structured, performance driven approach from Formula 1 to building systems, products, and AI based tools. My goal is to combine engineering rigour with product thinking, helping teams move faster, automate smarter, and make better technical decisions.
