Hello, I'm Toly!

I started my journey into the technology data space about 10 years ago. I didn't have a technical background-- my degree was in a social science, so I think I am particularly qualified at mentoring people who are trying to break into the industry due to having taught myself many of the skills that this career requires. I've looked at hundreds of interviews and interviewed nearly 100 candidates, so I know what it takes to break into this field.
I have experience within several different tech industries including gaming, web analytics and customer service. I'm also a full stack data scientist who is able to construct data pipelines, develop features, identify the right model for the business problem, publish the model into production and present the findings. I believe soft skills are just as important as technical skills and I hope to help people with both.

Mentoring is very rewarding and even if I'm able to make a difference in one person's life, then this entire experience is worth it.
