Yvonne Loorij

Yvonne was mentoring me for only 3 months, but during this relatively short period I gained immense insights and feel how I've grown as a professional. As a young woman in tech, I was often struggling with being confident and assertive at work, conveying my own contributions and fighting for what I truly deserve. My upbringing, social stigma and prejudice were hindering my career growth, leaving me unhappy. Yvonne helped me understand my true value myself, how I want to develop and be perceived at the workplace. Her incredibly strong and diverse Sales experience taught me actionable field knowledge, directly helping me negotiate at my current job and also excel at interviews for my next challenge. Most importantly, besides Yvonne's impressive professional background, she is simply a very kind and caring human being, making you feel comfortable and valued during every conversation. I wish Yvonne was my direct manager - but in the absence of such an option, I'm truly grateful for this opportunity to connect and learn from her through mentorship.
