Technical Interview Preparation (package) with Dan

This package includes a 30min intake and overview session, and then two 60min mock interview sessions, all of which you can schedule at your convenience (typically spaced apart by a few days to a week). This format allows me to do a deeper dive with you into your goals and where you feel you need the most practice, and design a mock interview structure customized for you and your goals.

I used to mostly offer “mock interviews as a service” (and I still do), where I spend an hour posing a few typical interview questions (you pick the focus areas and style of interview) and then giving you some actionable feedback and coaching (both verbal and written afterwards). What I realized is that I can help my clients a lot more when I understand the bigger picture of their situation and I can work with them over multiple sessions.

I can do mock technical exercises (coding or system architecture sessions) as well as behavioral or leadership interviews, and we can decide on the exact proportion of each to focus on during your intake session.

Each mock interview session will be about 40 minutes of questions, followed by about 20 minutes where I’ll give you some feedback and specific things to work on. I’ll also follow up with some written feedback as well as homework for the next session, if applicable. The package includes two of these sessions, and of course you can book additional 60min sessions incrementally if you want more practice.
