Hands-on support
Hi there!
I am Alex, an Ex-Google Staff Software Engineer. I worked at Google for 10 years. I joined as a new grad and got promoted 3 times up to staff level. I have a lot of insights about hiring because I was part of Google Early Career hiring committee, did over 150+ technical interviews, and flew to over 10+ universities and colleges in North America to do 35+ presentations and workshops for recruitment purposes. I mentored 8 interns from the STEP and regular internship programs and 25+ students through Google's CSSI, CodeU, and Tech Exchange programs.
I got my Bachelors in Computer Science from the University of Windsor back in 2014. I did a couple of internships (Microsoft and IBM) while I was in school.
I quit my SWE career because what truly energizes me is helping aspiring software engineers succeed in their careers. Now I get to do this full-time and feel super fulfilled.
Target audience: computer science (or related) students, recent new grads (0-3 YOE), career transitioners, self-taught developers, and bootcamp graduates.
