About

Hello! I'm Brooke and I've been working in digital design and product development for 15 years. I have worked as an IC and a people manager for enterprise UX design teams at three large organizations (Kroger, AT&T, and Papa John's). I am passionate about using design methods and new technologies to create innovative solutions that solve customer and business problems, across multiple channels, and using research and data to inform decisions and identify opportunities.

I'd love to work with mentees who are new to UX and are looking for guidance on their resume and portfolio, or designers who are interested in a design management career path. I can share information on what it's like moving from an IC to a manager, challenges you might face, and things I have learned along the way about managing up, down, and across at large, matrixed organizations. My leadership style is a bottoms-up approach focused on developing my teams skills using radical candor.
