Hi, I'm Don. I'm a veteran Technical Lead, Software Engineer, and Web Developer, with more than 25 years of experience, especially focused on frontend/UI development.
I've worked with many types of companies and teams, from startups with 20 people to more mature startups with more than 150 engineers, as well as very large companies like Nike, U.S. Bank, and others. In all of those teams I've been in a Lead Engineer/Technical Lead role, and at the same time worked with and mentored junior, mid-level, and senior engineers to help them develop their skills, position themselves for growth and success in their teams, and when the time came also help them with job searches, optimizing their resume and how they present themselves to new employers. One of the engineers that I worked with for about a year in my last role was able to be promoted from Senior Engineer to Lead Engineer during that time. I'm also currently mentoring students in an Associate's Degree Program in Web Development.
I'm currently dedicating part of my time as a resource and mentor, specifically to help engineers in various stages of their careers that are interested in progressing in their path of software engineering. Feel free to get in touch for an introductory conversation if you think I can help.
