Hi, I’m Kevin. I’m a software engineer at Google and a Cornell University computer science graduate. My experience spans full-stack development, algorithms and data structures, system design, debugging, testing, and building production-ready software from ambiguous ideas.
I especially enjoy helping students and early-career developers close the gap between understanding programming concepts and confidently applying them. My approach is methodical and collaborative: we trace what the code is actually doing, identify where your reasoning and the program’s behavior diverge, and work toward a solution together. I won’t simply take over your keyboard or hand you an answer. I want you to leave each session with a clearer mental model and a problem-solving process you can reuse independently.
Whether you’re learning programming, preparing for technical interviews, debugging a difficult issue, or trying to turn a project idea into real software, I’ll meet you where you are and help you determine the strongest next step.
Fun Fact: I competed in U.S. Nationals for Super Smash Bros. Ultimate!
You tell Kevin your goals. They see exactly what you want to work on before session one.
You meet within days. Kevin reviews your application and books your first session, usually within a day or two.
You leave with a plan. Concrete next steps and a weekly rhythm from your very first week.

What's included in the trial?
Every trial is a little different–here's what Kevin says about their trial:
We'll meet for a quick call (usually under 30 minutes) where we:
- Break the ice and introduce ourselves
- Discuss your goals and how I can support you
- Coordinate logistics like time zones, meeting frequency, and communication methods
