I publish independent research on the structural economics of AI at threadbaire.com. I focus on how infrastructure technologies concentrate control, whether open alternatives can work, and what happens when industrial-scale costs collide with the value dissolution AI produces. The analysis comes from direct experience building with these systems, both open and proprietary.
I'm also technical lead at ArchaeoXR (archaeoxr.com) an independent WebXR platform for cultural heritage with 30,000+ end users. My work is where AI infrastructure decisions meet spatial computing in production. This work also powers my research on both fields as AI's structural economics and spatial computing share the same infrastructure questions.
