About
I’m a senior software and systems engineer with over 25 years of industry experience, and I currently teach computer science at the college level. My background spans software architecture, C/C++, Java, Python, embedded systems, computer vision, machine learning, and AI.
I enjoy mentoring both students and working engineers, whether you’re strengthening your programming skills, tackling a difficult technical problem, preparing for interviews, or growing into a more senior engineering role. I can help with code reviews, debugging, system design and architecture, technical decision-making, and developing the broader engineering skills needed to take ownership of complex systems.
My mentoring style is collaborative and practical. Rather than simply giving you an answer, I’ll help you understand how to approach the problem, evaluate alternatives, and develop a problem-solving process you can apply independently. My experience as both an engineer and an instructor allows me to adapt the depth, pace, and approach to your experience level and goals.
