My name is Mark, and I am a cybersecurity leader with well over 30 years of deep technical experience in information technology, IT governance, data privacy, and regulatory compliance. I am a CISSP, CISA, CISM and CRISC, and am a frequent mentor and trainer. I also facilitate study groups for those preparing to take the CISA, CISM and Security+ exams. Fun fact: I actually had an article published in "2600: The Hacker Quarterly" many years ago when I was a pen tester.
I have expertise in major IT security and compliance standards and frameworks such as NIST CSF, HIPAA/HITECH, PCI DSS, SOX, GDPR, OWASP, and the Cloud Security Alliance (CSA).

I've transitioned from operation to GRC and I only am familiar with textbook knowledge. My mindset also needed to change and Mark setup some stepping stones for me which I really appreciate. We have a 30mins session which Mark gave me a lot of insights, what to expect, what to focus on and what will be a big impact. I'm working towards that and looking forward to our next catch-up.
