My name is Tracy, I’m living in Vietnam. My major is Natural Language Processing and Deep Learning. Currently I’m working remotely as a Head of Artificial Intelligence for a Denmark company.
With more than 5 years experience working in AI and Machine Learning, before moving back to Vietnam, I have worked in Singapore and done some freelancing projects for customers from US, Hong Kong, Thailand and Vietnam.
I have experience working with multiple state of the art algorithms in NLP, using Transformer-based models such as BERT, BART, GPT2, to solve text classification and text generation problems. My recent projects are including Sentiment Analysis, Summarization, Question Answering, and Contextual Chatbot development.
Last year, I have won the second place in one sub-task of the international workshop on semantic evaluation. This is a well-known research workshop in natural language semantics field. The task was Multilingual Offensive Language Identification in Social Media. The provided dataset is a large amount of noisy twitter text. I have applied many data processing technique to clean up the data, adapt Noisy Student training method (which is originally from ImageNet training) to train a stack of BERT and LSTM models. The research paper was published under the proceeding of SemEval2020.
Beside researching and model training, I also take responsibility in model deployment as well. Designing the whole AI service architecture on cloud using Google Cloud Pub/Sub, Cloud Storage, Cloud Function and Cloud Run.
I have been a Teaching Assistant in Deep Learning class of a non-profit organization and worked as a mentor on some online platform. I find myself loving to help people with their first steps in the "ML journey".
