Alva has been a fantastic mentor—extremely knowledgeable about machine learning and clearly experienced in the field. I really appreciated how she explains each topic, diving into the background concepts so you don’t just learn the steps but actually understand why you’re doing things. She also provides helpful Jupyter notebooks to practice the concepts hands-on, which made it much easier for me to grasp practical implementations using common ML libraries. What stood out most was her emphasis on building a strong foundation—she doesn’t just rush through topics. Instead, Alva makes sure you grasp the essentials clearly before moving forward, making each session engaging and genuinely insightful. Thanks to her structured approach, I feel much more confident in my machine learning skills.
