Hey, I’m Chris - ex IP/Tech lawyer, turned startup founder.
I’m still running my startup, but helping other great businesses on the side. I'll help where I can, but more importantly tell you when I'm not the right guy for your particular problem.
A quick summary of my background is:
- Trained and qualified as an IP litigator and Tech transactional lawyer at Top 50 firm, RPC in London. Advised on IP matters and in corporate transactions involving IP/Tech. Clients included Sports Direct, Daily Mail group, Betfair etc.
- After 4 years at RPC, moved in house to Betfair - advised on cross border tech transactions and general commercial matters.
- Founded my own startup and took it from an idea on a bit of paper to 100k users and profitability. The product was a two sided, hyper local marketplace, and I ran sales, marketing, fundraising (3 rounds), finance, product design, strategy, legal and all people functions. I’m still running that startup 8 years on.
