About
Hi I'm Danny! I’m a Senior Product Designer at Microsoft with 6+ years of experience specializing in AI UX 🔥 I’ve led designs across M365 Copilot core system, including Chat foundational experiences, Chat integration with M365 ecosystem, Rich outputs, and many more. Prior to this, I have worked at startups, such as Kalshi and Snackpass, to bring early concepts to life and wear "lots of hats" (website, pitch deck, branding).
As a mentor, I’ve mentored many students / early-career designers / career switchers. I've also been on the interviewer side to recruit early career designers for Microsoft and startups. From my experience, most designers don’t struggle with tools, however they struggle with storytelling, clarity, and showing senior-level thinking, which is where I love to help!
As a mentor, I focus on:
- Portfolio and case study reviews
- Resume and storytelling feedback
- Interview prep and design critiques
- Career growth in product design
My style is practical and encouraging. I aim to give clear, actionable feedback that helps you feel more confident and prepared for your next step.
Looking forward to chatting!
What mentees say
5 out of 5 stars
Danny is an excellent mentor who consistently checks in and supports me. Whenever I need something reviewed, he takes the time to go through it carefully and share detailed, thoughtful feedback that has been incredibly helpful. For interview prep, his portfolio reviews have been especially valuable. He provided specific, actionable suggestions that led to noticeable improvements in my portfolio and more confidence going into interviews. Overall, I’m very pleased with my experience working with Danny and highly recommend him as a mentor.
