About
Hi 👋
I'm Ignacio, originally from Uruguay and based in London since 2010. I have 11+ years of experience as a Software Engineer having worked at small and large scale companies like SwiftKey, Microsoft and Facebook / Meta.
I have vast experience mentoring engineers at Facebook to help them grow in different stages and areas of their careers, ranging from technical to behavioural skills. These mentorships helped them:
- Work more effectively
- Get promoted
- Have a healthier work/life balance
- Build good relationships at work
- Navigate their org more effectively
- Have more impact
I have also interviewed hundreds of candidates and would be happy to help you prepare for the interview process at FAANG and other companies.
How will the mentorship work?
1. Intro session
- Get to know each other
- Understand how I can help you
- Identify areas of growth
- Set long term and short term goals
2. Weekly checkins
- I will help you work towards the goals we have set
- We will review and update these goals as we make progress
- I will provide resources, practical exercises and support
I would love to help you figure out what's next in your career and help you get there sooner and more effectively!
What happens when you start
You tell Ignacio your goals. They see exactly what you want to work on before session one.
You meet within days. Ignacio reviews your application and books your first session, usually within a day or two.
You leave with a plan. Concrete next steps and a weekly rhythm from your very first week.
