I'm a Jamaican-born Software Engineer living in Toronto, Canada. I have over 13 years experiencing building applications for various sectors, at varying scales. I've worked at smaller shops where I've worn several hats. I've been an Engineering Lead, Manager, and Engineer as I also juggled Product Management and Customer Support. I now work in a more specialized role where I focus on maintaining, and building solutions for a product-based company in Toronto.
I'm particularly interested in helping immigrants who are trying to find their footing and attempting to navigate impostor syndrome. I've learned different coping strategies over the years and I'd love to help others make the transition as well.
