Hi there! My name is Justin Gilman and I'm a designer, business owner, and musician living in the Hudson Valley. I graduated from the MD Institute College of Art (MICA) in 2008, worked for design studios and global agencies for a few years, then opened up my own shop, Studio Rubric, in 2011. I've been running and growing that company ever since. Owning a company has allowed me to mature as a designer plus learn the many important things that surround design — project management, pricing models, processes, marketing, strategic thinking, client happiness, etc. I would LOVE to share my expertise and help you on your journey, whether you want to open up your own shop, freelance, or work in-house, I would be thrilled to help.
