I am Krijn van der Raadt, an experienced engineering and product leader with a passion for building and scaling products, technologies, and teams. My leadership journey has brought me to the forefront of some innovative tech companies, where I’ve been instrumental in scaling teams, developing lean product strategies, and driving growth.

As the founder of Shortest Path, I fine-tuned my skills in due diligence, helping companies boost their valuation while also serving potential acquirers and investors in their quest for well-informed decisions. My ten-year ride at GreatCall, from early-stage engineer to CTO and a successful exit, is a testament to my knack for product evolution, scaling a single-product company into a multi-product industry leader, and overseeing significant acquisitions.

With a rich tenure at AppFolio as the Sr. Director of Engineering, I breathed life into platform groups, transforming struggling teams into high-performing units and supporting new data-driven ML/AI features. At MindTouch, as the VP of Engineering, I invigorated a stagnated engineering team, spurring them to release several major features, all within a short time frame.

Beyond the technical realm, I’ve taken pride in my role as a coach and mentor. Across my roles, I've committed to nurturing talent, fostering a culture of growth and support, and emphasizing the importance of a good strategy. Lean product development is part of my approach, ensuring companies stay agile and customer-centric.

In addition to my hands-on experience, I hold a Master's in Computer Science from Vrije Universiteit, Amsterdam, and a Bachelor's in Electronics Engineering and Business from Amsterdam University of Applied Sciences. Continuously upgrading my skill set, I've also secured Coursera certifications in Machine Learning and Data Science.
