For over a decade, my work has taken me through different sides of product development, from UX design and product management to strategy, consulting, and entrepreneurship.
Working with more than 40 startups and organizations across SaaS, marketplaces, B2B, and B2C products has provided a broad perspective on how products are developed, how teams work, and why seemingly reasonable decisions don't always lead to good outcomes.
As a startup founder, I've also experienced what it means to build and run a business, from validating an idea and developing a product to finding customers, managing limited resources, and making difficult decisions about what comes next.
Alongside consulting, I've mentored more than 20 UX professionals through Springboard, helping them develop their skills, approach problems with greater confidence, and grow professionally.
Who I work with
Product managers looking to develop stronger strategic thinking, improve discovery and prioritization, or work through difficult product decisions.
UX and product designers who want to move beyond execution, understand the broader product and business context, and take a more active role in shaping product direction.
Startup founders navigating the challenges of validating ideas, defining MVPs, and deciding where to invest their limited time and resources.
What we can work on
Mentoring can cover a range of topics, depending on your experience and current challenges:
- Product strategy, discovery, and prioritization
- Startup idea validation and MVP development
- Customer research and understanding user problems
- Product decision-making and challenging assumptions
- Connecting product work with business goals
- Developing strategic thinking and navigating complex problems
- Moving from design or execution into more strategic roles
- Working through real product challenges and stakeholder decisions
My mentoring approach
Good mentoring starts with understanding the problem, not jumping to a solution.
Rather than relying on prescribed frameworks or ready-made answers, we'll look at the context, examine assumptions, consider alternatives, and work toward practical next steps. The intention is not just to address the immediate challenge, but to develop the judgment and skills that will be useful in the next one.
Sessions can be structured around long-term professional development or a specific challenge that needs an outside perspective.
If you're interested in working together, send me a message or book a trial session. A short introduction to your background and what you're working on is a good place to start.
