I've spent my career growing from an individual contributor into engineering leadership, leading teams across cybersecurity, SaaS, and healthcare technology. Today I lead Platform Engineering at SmithRx, and previously served as a Senior Director of Engineering responsible for scaling organizations, building engineering leaders, and improving execution across multiple teams.
Throughout my career, I’ve designed interview loops, conducted hundreds of interviews, and hired engineers and managers. I’m currently helping redesign how engineering interviews evaluate AI skills, so I see firsthand what hiring managers look for today. I’ve also built high-performing teams, led organizational changes, and helped engineers grow into senior, staff, and management roles.
