Hi, I'm Matt 👋 Since beginning my journey as a freelance designer over 11 years ago, I've done remote work for agencies, consulted for startups, and collaborated with talented people to create digital products for both business and consumer use. I'm quietly confident, naturally curious, and perpetually working on improving my chops one design problem at a time.
I genuinely care about people, and enjoy helping fellow designers work on their craft. I've been a mentor for Designlab's UX Academy for 7+ years and in that time have helped 200+ students through 65+ bootcamps and 25+ short courses, hosted 2,350+ mentor sessions and facilitated 60+ croup critique sessions.
As a mentor, I strive to function as a catalyst and challenge you to grow as both a designer and a human. I care about the details and will encourage you to think, plan, and dream. So whether you're new to the field or simply looking for some guidance and support, I can help.
