My journey into cybersecurity has been anything but conventional. I studied Electrical & Electronic Engineering and started my career in oil & gas as a Systems Engineer, where I gained hands-on experience securing operationally critical systems. I later transitioned into cybersecurity consulting, advising organisations on their security posture and strategy, and today I am a Strategic Cyber Threat Intelligence Director at a global investment bank, advising senior executives on emerging cyber threats and their implications.

I have been fortunate to work on high-profile projects and with senior executives from relatively early in my career, experiences that shaped how I approach problem-solving, communication and career growth. I have also been involved in recruiting and coaching cybersecurity talent, giving me insight into what hiring managers actually look for beyond qualifications and certifications.

Along the way, I have worked across OT/ICS, cyber strategy, threat intelligence, cloud and AI security, building much of my expertise through self-learning and experience on the job. I hold CISSP and CCSP certifications and am currently pursuing GIAC AI Platform Security (GAIPS).
