I’m currently a Distinguished Engineer (director level) at Capital One in New York City, where I help shape software design patterns and architecture across the Credit Card Tech organization. Previously, I spent over 7 years as a Principal Solutions Architect at AWS, supporting companies across industries and sizes, from startups to Fortune 500 enterprises, in designing and scaling mission-critical solutions on the AWS cloud.
At AWS, I worked directly with executives and technical leaders in sectors such as energy, transportation, real estate, healthcare, and financial services. I led global-scale modernization initiatives, co-authored AWS solutions, and helped engineering teams move faster with cloud-native, secure, and cost-effective architectures.
Earlier in my career, I led the cloud transformation at one of Brazil’s top antifraud and cybersecurity companies. I migrated large-scale on-premises systems to AWS, trained engineering teams, and built platforms that served over 50 million users. I also helped major banks across Latin America adopt the cloud for the first time.
