About

Do you crave change but feel stuck in a well-paying yet unfulfilling job, either abroad or in a country that no longer suits you?

🌐You often lie awake at night, wondering if you’re throwing away your talent, potential, and time, feeling behind compared to your peers and where you thought you’d be by now.
🌐Maybe what makes this even worse is a change in company culture, making you feel underappreciated and like a cog in a machine.
🌐Perhaps you’ve already seen layoffs happen or AI taking over some jobs, and you’re worried you’ll be next. Or you simply can’t see a future in your country’s economy.
🌐But you still haven’t managed to change your situation. You’re either so ‘rusty’ and overwhelmed with options that you don’t know where to start, or you’ve sacrificed your limited time off on a chaotic job search that led to nothing.

The real problem?

🧩You lack clarity on what role can be both well-paying and truly fulfilling for you, and on how to present yourself as the best possible candidate to recruiters and hiring teams.

And unfortunately, the longer you stay where your talent goes unrecognised or keep applying for random jobs only to get rejected, the harder it’s going to be to believe in yourself and break that cycle.

I experienced first-hand how demoralising it feels to stay stuck in an unfulfilling job or with our limiting beliefs. It jeopardises your career, chips away at your confidence, and seeps into your personal life, too.

But I’ve also learnt that we don’t have to settle: with the right strategy, that new chapter is possible.

The only regret I have as an Italian expat in the NL, who’s completely changed her career multiple times? If only I had done it sooner!...So, I now help others get there.

⭕I’m Roby, the Expats’ Career Coach (former recruiter with proven insider knowledge). I guided 100+ experienced professionals (from America to Asia, and all in between) to land fulfilling, high-income jobs in new roles, industries, or countries.

Changing careers or looking for work can be extremely overwhelming, and I didn’t know how or where to start. Roberta’s expertise gave me a broader outlook, while her empathy made it easy to connect and work with her. Through her powerful questions, I uncovered hidden strengths and began shaping my story with confidence. We are still working together, and I now find the job search and career switch process far clearer, more structured, and much more manageable. She has been incredibly helpful, and I strongly recommend her to anyone going through a similar journey.

Before I hired Roberta as my mentor, my job search felt like a relentless uphill battle. I truly believed I had done everything there was to be done, revamping my portfolio (I’m a UX designer, by the way), hiring a UX design mentor, getting referrals, implementing advise from experts, watching countless videos, you name it. But with Roberta, I finally got to see my job search from the other side. Since she’s been on the hiring end, I started to understand how hiring managers actually think. And the things that make a real difference, that seem small, but are not. Take my resume, for example. I modified certain sections, and rewrote my summary from the ground up, and for the first time, I felt truly connected to it. Ask yourself: how often do you have a resume or cover letter that isn’t just tailored to the job but actually feels like you, so much so that even if you get rejected, you know deep down that what you’ve put forward is an authentic, powerful reflection of your skills, personality, and what you can genuinely bring to the table? That kind of confidence, the real, imposter-syndrome-free kind, is something you can’t achieve alone. Roberta gets it because she’s been there. She’s felt the frustration, the setbacks, the moments of doubt. And at the same time, she’s also been the person on the other end, reading resumes, assessing candidates, making those hiring decisions. That rare combination is what makes her mentorship so invaluable. Beyond all that, she’s just an incredible human being. She’s down to earth, welcoming, and truly sees you. She listens, empathizes, and understands your unique situation, without judgment, without generic advise. She tailors everything to you, and that sets the tone for an experience that’s both transformative and personal. So if you’re hesitating? Don’t. If you’re struggling, if you’re feeling stuck, if you’re wondering what’s missing, she’s the one. You won’t regret it.
