Hi, I'm Rob and I've been a developer for over a decade now. Most recently working as a Principal Applications Engineer at Oracle and I now contract and teach. I currently work with nodejs, react and tailwind but I believe a foundational understanding of javascript is far more important than any specific framework.
I didn't do at all well in school and was very dyslexic so it was very hard for me to learn programming. I had to self teach myself and find my own methods to better understand how to code. For this reason I think I'd be a good mentor for a beginner in web development or anyone who struggles to up-skill in this area.

Rob is a very good mentor, when I started the mentorship with him, what I wanted was to figure out direction after being in software development for a couple of years, I learned a lot about managing tasks and planning a strategy for my own learning and development, he also has a comprehensive approach to coding and software, after all, coding is not just about writing code but all the other 'stuff' that gets lost in the noise of the code.
