I’m a Staff Engineer based in London with 10+ years in software engineering, spanning engineering management, backend and full-stack development, and mobile app development. I’ve worked at companies ranging from startups to larger organisations like the BBC, and I’ve also built a few tech startups of my own.
For over a year I’ve been using AI and agentic coding full-time, and I’m keen to share what I’ve learned about bringing these tools into everyday engineering work.
I can help you with:
• Engineering management and software engineering
• Mobile app and product development (Swift, SwiftUI, UIKit, architecture, testing, debugging)
• Growing as a junior developer, and training and supporting junior developers
• Using AI and agentic coding effectively in software development
• Code reviews, technical leadership and making sound technical decisions
• Breaking down complex topics and making them easier to understand
Whether you’re strengthening your fundamentals, working through a challenging project, adopting AI tools in your team, or preparing for a senior, staff or management role, we’ll shape our sessions around your goals. Bring your code, questions, or career challenges, and we’ll work through them together with clear, actionable next steps.
I see mentoring as a two-way relationship: I share what I’ve learned, and I learn from my mentees’ perspectives and experiences too. The best mentoring helps both people move forward.
You tell Sezer your goals. They see exactly what you want to work on before session one.
You meet within days. Sezer reviews your application and books your first session, usually within a day or two.
You leave with a plan. Concrete next steps and a weekly rhythm from your very first week.
