I have 15 years of experience in devices and cloud, at Microsoft and Apple. I love learning and I'm at my best when I'm helping someone connect the dots between deep technical work and the bigger architectural picture.
My background spans both ends of the stack: embedded and device systems where constraints are real and tradeoffs actually hurt, and large-scale cloud architecture on Azure where the challenges shift to distributed systems, reliability, and scale. That combination gives me a useful lens: I think about architecture from the hardware up and the cloud down.
I work best with junior engineers that try to get to senior/staff engineers, as well as senior engineers making the transition into architecture roles. I help people who are technically strong but figuring out how to operate at a different level of abstraction, influence without authority, and make decisions with incomplete information. Whether your background is closer to the device side or the cloud side, that transition looks similar and it's one I've navigated myself.
I don't have a fixed agenda for our sessions, and instead meet you where you are. Sometimes you need a framework, sometimes you need someone to think out loud with. I'll follow your lead and push back when it's useful.
