I have diverse and extensive experience in the IT industry. I started at the Help Desk and learned much about IT operations - systems implementation, project and time management, troubleshooting, and customer service. I took some Microsoft classes and became a Systems Analyst. I continued taking courses in networking and became a Network Analyst and Security Administrator. After a few years, a mentor offered me a management position, which I accepted. In the beginning, I found the transition from technical to management daunting, but not very long, I started liking the responsibilities. My organizational and problem-solving skills helped me transition to the new role. I started focusing on leadership and management training. I also got certified in public management.
After over 30 years in the IT industry, I can offer my wealth of experience to help someone grow, navigate challenges, and create a career path.
