About

Hi, I'm Yoav!

If you're a student, career changer, or junior hardware engineer looking to break into the semiconductor industry, I'm here to help.

I'm a CPU Formal Verification Engineer at Intel, previously a Design Verification Engineer at Rafael Advanced Defense Systems. Before engineering, I spent nearly a decade as an IDF officer, then made a complete career transition into hardware.

I started by helping friends with resumes, interview preparation, and career planning. As more engineers reached out through LinkedIn, I realized how valuable practical, personalized guidance could be. That's what inspired me to start mentoring more broadly.

Outside of work, I run the @2ChipDesign YouTube channel and teach highly rated Udemy courses on digital design and SystemVerilog. My Master HDL Design with SystemVerilog course is also available through Udemy Business.

Depending on your goals, I can help you:

• Create a personalized learning roadmap based on your goals
• Review and improve your resume and LinkedIn profile
• Prepare for technical interviews and conduct mock interviews (Digital Design & Verification)
• Bridge the gap between university projects and industry expectations

My goal is simple: to help you shorten the learning curve, avoid common mistakes, and grow with confidence.

What happens when you start

You tell Yoav your goals. They see exactly what you want to work on before session one.

You meet within days. Yoav reviews your application and books your first session, usually within a day or two.

You leave with a plan. Concrete next steps and a weekly rhythm from your very first week.
