About
Gaurav Agarwal (he/him/his) is the Chief Technology Officer (CTO) of GetYourGuide, a leading platform for discovering and booking travel experiences. In this role, Gaurav leads GetYourGuide’s global technical teams, including product development, growth, infrastructure, data, analytics and AI.
Previously, he led the engineering organization at Netflix that was responsible for all aspects of user and revenue growth, including plans, pricing, payments, partner platform, and account management. Prior to Netflix, Gaurav led multiple Growth Engineering teams at Meta focusing on User Growth and Advertiser Growth. Before Meta, Gaurav co-founded a startup focusing on an anonymous social network where he led engineering and product development.
Gaurav maintains a proven track record of building and leading large technical teams that have successfully delivered massive wins to the business. In conjunction with other cross-functional leaders, Gaurav has been successful in influencing and setting the product and technical direction for multiple zero-to-one products throughout his career.
Gaurav holds exemplary education qualifications, including a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science from Nanyang Technological University, Singapore, and Economics from the University of California, Berkeley.
