In my 26 year career as a full stack developer I have been fortunate to develop websites for a large range of companies including Microsoft, Bank of Scotland, BBC, British Medical Association, Heriot-Watt University and the Northern Ireland Tourist Board. I also created websites for ten different agencies of the Scottish Government.
I am passionate about passing on my knowledge, having taught website design at Edinburgh University for three years, published a book about SharePoint and reviewed courses for a online training provider.
Over the past six years I've specialised in front end work and the Angular framework. I can guide you in all the aspects of whichever path you'd like to take:
- Pure HTML, JavaScript and CSS
- Angular HTML, TypeScript and SASS
Personally, I'd recommend a mix of both paths so you are thoroughly equipped in the basics and able to efficiently use the excellent framework.

Mike has been great at guiding me on my path to becoming a full-stack developer. He has vast experience, and is great at guiding you in the right direction, letting you learn from mistakes and finding ways to fix them. He puts a lot of emphasis on learning to solve problems yourself, but if you get completely stuck he is there to help you. I look forward to continuing working with him.
