Hello! I'm a principal machine learning engineer at Seekr using NLP techniques (e.g. LLMs) to fight fake news and dis/misinformation. I have 16 years of experience working with big data, statistics, and AI.

A little bit more about me:

At Seekr, I develop and productionalize machine learning models to deliver a reliable and transparent news feed and search engine. My background is in scientific research and applied machine learning (Ph.D. in cognitive neuroscience from Carnegie Mellon University, postdoc at the University of Toronto).

I'm also an experienced educator and mentor: I have developed my own undergraduate course in applied data science, and have mentored and managed junior engineers and research scientists in my current role at Seekr, as well as research assistants as a postdoctoral scholar.
