Hands-on support
A dynamic professional with 15+ years of experience in both higher education and industry. My passion is working with motivated, career driven individuals to help them discover their strengths and value.
I am currently the Associate Director of Career Services at Johns Hopkins University, Bloomberg School of Public Health - the number one school of public health in the country. During my 10+ years at Johns Hopkins I have worked with industries such as: public health, consulting, finance, federal government, state and local government, non-profit, biotechnology, and research. I am skilled in both employer relations and career coaching and previously served as a corporate recruiter for a large healthcare consultancy.
I hold a master’s degree in Counseling from the Johns Hopkins School of Education, and I have also earned the title of Certified University Career Coach through The Academies, an approved program by the International Coach Federation (ICF). These experiences have allowed me to cultivate superb people skills and to hone what I believe is one of the most important skill sets of all: relationship building and management.
Mentees who work with a mentor for 3+ months reach their goals 2x faster than those going it alone. Long-term mentorship means fewer false starts, more focused sessions, and support that builds week after week.
