I hired Dan as my mentor because I was having trouble getting through UI/UX Design interviews. I had a great feeling right from my first interaction with Dan. He is very knowledgable, patiently listens to you, understands your problems and comes up with excellent and actionable suggestions. He really helped my present my work in a better way, improved the way I communicate impact on my CV and also helped me immensely in articulating design decisions- which I feel, is something that not only helps in interviews, but also levels me up as a UI/UX Designer. I landed a job now, and I would surely like to keep having Dan as my mentor and see what we can achieve together in this new phase :) .
