I decided to start mentorship because I felt uncertain about my career direction, and working with Dan has been one of the best decisions I’ve made. He takes the time to truly listen and offers practical, grounded advice—especially when it comes to navigating the industry and figuring out long-term direction for my career. One of the most valuable parts of this mentorship has been his feedback on portfolio storytelling. He helped me think through not just what to present, but how to present it—what to emphasize, how to structure my narrative, and what to consider from an interviewer’s perspective. I hired Dan as my mentor because I was having trouble getting through UI/UX Design interviews. I had a great feeling right from my first interaction with Dan. He is very knowledgable, patiently listens to you, understands your problems and comes up with excellent and actionable suggestions. He really helped my present my work in a better way, improved the way I communicate impact on my CV and also helped me immensely in articulating design decisions- which I feel, is something that not only helps in interviews, but also levels me up as a UI/UX Designer.
