Deepak Deolalikar has 14 years of experience in Enterprise B2B Product Management.
He was an early founder at iCharts which went through 3 pivots and eventually found PM Fit as an embedded BI for Netsuite. Later he spent 5 years at SugarCRM where he launched Sugar Reporting, Sugar Hint, Sugar GDPR and Sugar Serve. He then spent 2 years as a VP/GM for Brightedge where he created a new add on product for SMB customers.
Deepak also has 12 years working in a Big 5 consulting helping Fortune 100 clients with their analytics and technology strategy. He started as a programmer and built an ERP/CRM package for small manufacturers in India.
Deepak has a BE Comp Sc from MS University, Vadodara and an MBA from Haas School of Business, UC Berkeley.
Deepak is currently :
- An advisor on e Enterprise track at Berkeley Skydeck where he has coached 10 startups, and provides masterclasses on customer discovery, finding the first niche, competitive analysis, market sizing and pitching to enterprises.
- A coach at the PM Studio program at UC Berkeley where he has helped over 60 PMs.
- Faculty at institute of product leadership where he teaches Lean Entrepreneurship, Product management fundamentals and is a mento on the Exec MBA track. He has has trained over 100 PMs.
