About
I help technology practitioners become experts at shipping AI-powered tech to production and at growing into the leaders their teams and their customers can’t live without.
Over the last 15 years I’ve built applied AI and ML products from the ground up, and the engineering teams behind them. I focus on the pragmatic realities of building and scaling technical products and organizations.
**How I can help you:**
* Becoming an AI-Native Engineer. AI is changing both what we build and how we build it. I help engineers master both: building AI-powered products (agents, evals, getting from demo to production) and adopting AI-native development processes. I've spent 15 years building products with AI and ML at their core, and at Euphonic AI we ship dozens of code changes per day to production rapidly and safely.
* Leveling Up as an Engineering Manager. I coach new and aspiring managers on hiring, running efficient teams, and bridging the gap between engineering and product leadership. At Alteryx, I grew and led a ~40-person multinational software engineering organization.
* Navigating the Founder Journey. I advise founders on handling the hard realities of pilots, pivots, fundraising and startup lifecycles. As the co-founder and CTO of Euphonic AI, I built an agentic platform delivering $25M in average customer pilot value.
I’ve participated in two acquisitions, published several academic papers, and hold a patent and two computer science degrees from MIT. Outside of work, I'm a professional sax player, a bike tourer, and the creator of the lobster emoji 🦞.
**How we’ll work together:**
In our first call we’ll discuss what you’d most like to work on, and aim to identify a key goal we can work towards together. From there, we’ll meet every week or two. I’ll tell you exactly what I would do in your position, give you direct feedback and share tangible tips on how to think and operate. We can review progress periodically as we go along.
