Hi, I’m Elena. I’m an AI Engineer at a global enterprise company, where I work on AI adoption, observability and governance. That includes MCP servers, telemetry standards and the groundwork that gets AI past the prototype stage and into production.
A year ago I was a SDET. I spent about 8 years in software quality. I built test automation frameworks from scratch with Playwright, Selenium, Python, set up CI/CD pipelines and made test suites stable. In early 2026 I moved into an AI Engineer role inside my company.
What I learned is that QA engineers are closer to AI engineering than they think. Evaluating models, observing them, making them reliable and governing them all come down to quality questions. Can we measure it? Can we tell when it fails? Can we understand why? Can we run it reliably? Your testing mindset is an advantage, not something to leave behind.
Who I work with: QA Automation Engineers and SDETs who are curious about AI but don’t know where to start, or who have started learning and feel stuck.
I can help you with:
* Checking whether AI engineering fits you, and which direction suits your background: building AI-powered apps and agents, testing and evaluating AI systems, AI platform and governance, training and fine-tuning models, deploying AI with customers, or AI enablement and adoption inside a company.
* Mapping your QA/SDET skills to AI engineering and finding the gaps
* Building a focused learning plan
* Planning an internal transition: how to find AI work at your current company and make the case for a role change
* Picking hands-on projects that show real AI skills
I’ve been through this switch recently, so I remember what was confusing, what helped and what wasted time. Sessions are in English or Russian.
Ready to start? Book an intro call and tell me where you are and where you want to go. We’ll figure out your first step together.
You tell Elena your goals. They see exactly what you want to work on before session one.
You meet within days. Elena reviews your application and books your first session, usually within a day or two.
You leave with a plan. Concrete next steps and a weekly rhythm from your very first week.

What's included in the trial?
Every trial is a little different–here's what Elena says about their trial:
We'll meet for a quick call (20 minutes) where we:
- Break the ice and introduce ourselves
- Discuss your goals and how I can support you
- Coordinate logistics like time zones, meeting frequency, and communication methods
