I’m a serial career pivoter, from beauty buying to higher education marketing to consumer goods international expansion and e-commerce growth, and finally now to technology startup world. I’ve worked in small businesses (<30 people) and in huge multi-nationals (eg The Walt Disney Company). All these experiences built my business generalist skillset and my career change application/interview skills.
My experiences also brought me to my current role at Vygo (EdTech startup) as Chief of Staff, where I am the force multiplier and thought partner to the CEO. I am across almost all areas in the business, including operations, strategy, investment, finance, legal, insurance, security, internal communications, special projects and more.
Besides helping others in similar roles to myself, I have a particular soft spot for people wanting to pivot into different roles from non-traditional backgrounds (ie strategy consulting, investment banking). I am more than happy to help with job applications, interviews or general career planning.
