I’ve been working as a Data Scientist for 8+ years and have been mentoring people successfully, both on the job and with private clients, throughout.
My career started in the gaming and music industry working on improving Candy Crush level design at Activision/Blizzard King (now part of Microsoft), helping artists be successful on streaming platforms at a major record label (Sony Music Entertainment), and making video games like God of War and Horizon: Forbidden West less frustrating and more fun at PlayStation WorldWide Studios in London. Recently, I've been working remotely as a Data Scientist at Spotify and then at a mid-sized US tech company.
I've always been keen on improving my data and interviewing skills and cleared full Data Scientist interviews at Apple, Google, and Meta, receiving multiple offers up to the Senior level.
I've started mentoring when a few people have reached out after watching SQL instructions on my YouTube channel and I’ve successfully helped them land roles at Amazon, Apple and Meta. As part of the mentorship program at my current role, I’ve helped a Research Scientist successfully transition to a Data Scientist role. I now even lead a team of Data Scientists and Analysts after getting promoted three times in the span of two years.
5 out of 5 stars
I had the genuine pleasure of working with Frederik on a couple of mock interview sessions for the Data Analyst / Data Science roles. He was on time for every session and structured the interview well, providing constructive written feedback along with actionable next steps and resources, which helps in understanding weak areas and preparing more efficiently. I found him reliable and knowledgeable, and would highly recommend him for technical mock interviews or mentorship in Data Analytics and Data Science!
