Hamid has been mentoring me through my challenge of landing my first full-time industry position after PhD completion. Over the past month, he has offered me his insights on how I can tailor my resume to geospatial data science job applications. In addition, he has conducted a mock interview session to help me prepare for introductory conversations with recruiters and hiring managers. Throughout all of our interactions, Hamid has consistently offered honest suggestions and words of encouragement. I particularly appreciate that, at times of need, he has been willing to provide tough feedback without sounding overly harsh. Currently, we are in the initial stages of planning an MLOps project to strengthen my portfolio for future job applications. I am eagerly looking forward to our forthcoming discussions.

Hamid has been my mentor for a couple of months. We are working on a vision project which is outside my Data Science / Statistics domain. He has a very down-to-earth approach in the way he mentors and I have found him to be very supportive and responsive. He is highly efficient in his ability to get a sense of the project bounds and provides clear technical advice - ensuring I understand the necessary stages. One thing I particularly appreciate is the clarity in the outline of “tasks and steps” following our fortnightly catch-up which leads in well to the back-and-forth support between face-to-face sessions… Highly recommended.
